In collaboration with the Circa ad agency, we created a series of AR experiences to inform and advertise about Bravecto Quantum. There were two target audience groups: veterinarians, and the general public. The vet experience is both a web app with some videos and documents about the product, and a series of 3 AR scenes to choose from; the initial AR menu, an animated sequence with copy introducing the product, an interactive globe showcasing the product's use across the 4 seasons, and a corner of a house with a selection of multiple vignettes viewable through a "magnifier lens". The public focused experience is two separate AR scenes: a set of 4 small animated vignettes, and a detached public version of the globe scene from the vet experience.
My work consisted of: estimates and scope planning, working with the agency to translate their ideas for webAR experience, UX flow charts and wireframes, implementing the 2D web interface, determining the proper workflow for the blender to AFrame/ThreeJS web app pipeline, exporting and implementing the animated 3D assets, memory management of 3D assets to maintain an optimized experience, all programming and custom shaders, Firebase integration, and building and launching to production.
We worked with a variety of 3D artists and animators to create the 3D assets. The initial 3D concepts were created by Rick Malwitz, which were then translated to realtime friendly assets and animated by Camryn Schroder (Menu, E1, part of E2), Sam Roe (part of E2),
