Mela B3 Serum Experience (2024)

The Mela B3 Serum Experience is a WebAR experience created in tandem with DiD for a direct-to-physicians package they designed for the Mela B3 serum and lotion. This experience utilized an image target on the inside of the packaging which was revealed after unfolding the packaging.

The WebAR experience was developed in 8thWall/A-Frame. Various assets were created by modifying existing 2D&3D assets made by DiD for pre-rendered videos and promo (the Melasyl molecule, the skin cross section, the bottle). My work was creating the concept mockups for the 3D experience (UI design by Rick Malwitz), full development of the experience (logic, animations, custom shaders), modification/incorporation of previously mentioned assets provided by DiD, and creation of new assets (Stats, Results, VFX meshes, VFX textures).
